TENDER DESCRIPTION

In the centre of the city of Hanau there is the (retail) building of the department store group Galeria S.à r.l. & Co. KG (formerly Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof GmbH), which was built in 1957; following the termination of its use, it is owned by the city of Hanau and is to be further developed by it into “Stadthof Hanau”. The building is intended to house retail outlets, catering/food and beverage services, exhibition and leisure areas as well as offices. The contracting authority therefore intends to modernise and revitalise the Stadthof Hanau building and, for this purpose, to carry out the required construction measures. The subject of the procurement procedure is the award of a contract for construction services for technical building equipment, namely for the installation of electrical engineering systems, including high-voltage power systems as well as telecommunications and information technology systems (hereinafter “services”).
