TENDER DESCRIPTION

In the center of the city of Hanau there is the (retail) building of the department store group Galeria S.à r.l. & Co. KG (formerly Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof GmbH), which was built in 1957; following its discontinuation of use, it is owned by the city of Hanau and is to be further developed by it into the “Stadthof Hanau”. The building is to house retail outlets, catering, exhibition and public areas as well as offices. For this reason, the contracting authority intends to modernize and revitalize the Stadthof Hanau building and, for this purpose, to carry out the required construction measures. The subject of the procurement procedure is the award of a contract for construction services for building services engineering, namely for the installation of electrical installations, including power supply installations as well as telecommunications and information technology installations (hereinafter “services”).
