TENDER DESCRIPTION
Raahen Satama Oy is building a new embankment along the edge of a new settling basin at Elkonniemi in the Port of Raahen. The embankment is designed to be constructed as an earthen framework with a rock-fill, revetted embankment structure that is filled on top of the existing subgrade. For the rock revetment, foundation piles are dredged/removed, extending 1 m below the bearing-capable subgrade. The embankment on the north side is built in such a way that the waterway running along its edge can later be deepened to a depth required by the N2000-13.90 dredging level, with a navigational depth of 12 m, without interfering with the embankment.
