TENDER DESCRIPTION
Raahen Satama Oy is constructing a new embankment revetment along the perimeter of a new dredged-material containment basin in Elkonniemi, Raahes port. The embankment is designed to be built as an embankment structure with a moraine-based core, clad with broken rock, and it will be filled on the basis of the existing subsoil. For the broken-rock cladding, root piles are dredged, and they extend 1 m below the load-bearing subsoil. The north-side embankment is to be built so that the fairway running at its edge can later be deepened to the depth required by the N2000-13.90 dredging level for a 12 m navigational depth, without interfering with the embankment.
