TENDER DESCRIPTION

The School Foundation of the Diocese of Augsburg, a church foundation under public law, is tendering the ELT specialist planning (service description § 55 HOAI) for the general renovation and partial replacement new construction of the Rhabanus-Maurus-Gymnasium in St. Ottilien in phases starting from service phase 1. The Rhabanus-Maurus-Gymnasium with currently over 680 students and 60 teachers is today housed in a school building from the 1960s, which was expanded in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. The current school building is not barrier-free and shows significant functional deficiencies as well as structural/physical building defects. In the so-called day home (former St. Katharina Monastery) rooms are currently used for all-day care of the students. The former St. Katharina Monastery has meanwhile been listed as an individual monument under heritage protection. After thorough variant investigations, it is now planned to completely renovate the former St. Katharina Monastery and use it for school purposes in the future.
