TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Lower Saxony State Authority for Road Construction and Transport (NLStBV), regional business unit Hannover, intends, with this invitation to tender, to award the construction contract for the replacement construction of the bridge over the Mittelland Canal together with road and footpath construction measures. The subject of this invitation to tender is the demolition of the Mittelland Canal bridge as part of the Messen Schnellweg (B 3), the replacement construction of the motorway bridge (2 TBW), the construction of two cycle and pedestrian bridges at the same location, and the construction of a retaining wall south of the MLK at the RiFa Hannover as well as the preparation and dismantling of the temporary diversion route for the B 3 during construction. In connection with the road and civil engineering works, the noise barriers and the VZ bridge are to be demolished. The new construction of the LSW and the VZ bridge is the subject of separate contracts.
