TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Lower Saxony State Authority for Road Construction and Transport (NLStBV), Hanover regional business unit, intends, through this tender, to award the construction contract for the replacement new build of the bridge over the Mittelland Canal together with road and path construction measures. The subject of this tender is the demolition of the Mittelland Canal bridge as part of the Messeschnellweg (B 3), the replacement new build of the motorway bridge (2 TBW), the construction of two cycle and pedestrian bridges at the same location and the construction of a retaining wall south of the MLK at the RiFa Hannover as well as the production and dismantling of the temporary detour around B 3 during construction. In connection with the road and civil engineering works, the noise protection barriers and the VZ bridge must be demolished. The new build of the LSW and the VZ bridge is the subject of separate contracts. The overpassing road (B 3) is to be renewed from construction site km 124+924 to construction site km 125+493 and the underpassing paths of the altered structural situation are to be adapted.
