TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. Project description The Old Hanseatic City of Lemgo plans the energy-efficient refurbishment and change of use of the former Anne Frank School into a forward-looking, barrier-free and multifunctional centre for music and cultural education, meeting, participation and the public good. The project is based on the “Strategic urban goals 2030” of the Old Hanseatic City of Lemgo. The objective “Vibrant districts and identification” is assigned the leisure facilities concept developed as part of a LEADER project. This aims to strengthen local infrastructure, social participation and civic engagement and expressly recommends expanding the city’s music school. The refurbishment eliminates existing vacancy and enables sustainable further use. By preserving the existing building and modernising it in an energy-efficient manner, the project also makes an important contribution to climate protection and to implementing the strategic urban goals 2030. 2.
