TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. Project description The Alte Hansestadt Lemgo plans the energy-efficient refurbishment and conversion of the former Anne-Frank School into a forward-looking, barrier-free and multifunctional centre for music and cultural education, meeting, participation and the public good. The project is based on the “Strategic City Objectives 2030” of the Alte Hansestadt Lemgo. The objective “Vibrant district/local areas and identity” is linked to the recreational facilities concept developed as part of a LEADER project. It aims to strengthen local infrastructure, social participation and civic engagement and expressly recommends expanding the municipal music school. The refurbishment will eliminate existing vacancies and enable sustainable follow-on use. By preserving the existing building and modernising it in an energy-efficient way, the project also makes an important contribution to climate protection and to implementing the strategic city objectives for 2030. 2.
