TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procedure is the pan-European award of services for balance group management, including settlement of the open positions for the electricity and gas portfolio of Energiedienste der Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart GmbH (short: EDS). In particular, the contract awardee shall provide services including the preparation of forecasts, the identification and management of open positions, balance group and schedule/nomination management, as well as further energy-economic support and service services. The details of the scope of services are set out in the service specification (Appendix 3 to the applicant memorandum). The requirements designated in the service specification as mandatory services constitute minimum requirements for the provision of the services and must be fully met by the contract awardee. Bids that do not meet the required mandatory services may be excluded from evaluation. By contrast, the service components referred to in the service specification as additional services are not mandatory to offer.
