TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this procedure is the Europe-wide award of services for balance group management including settlement of open positions for the electricity and gas portfolio of Energiedienste der Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart GmbH (short: EDS). In particular, the contractor provides services including the preparation of forecasts, the identification and management of open positions, balance group and schedule/fare planning as well as nomination management, and further energy-sector support and service services. The details of the scope of services are set out in the specification of services (Annex 3 to the applicant memorandum). The requirements identified in the specification of services as mandatory services constitute minimum requirements for the performance of the service and must be fully met by the contractor. Bids that do not meet the required mandatory services may be excluded from evaluation. By contrast, the service components referred to in the specification of services as additional services are not mandatory to offer.
