TENDER DESCRIPTION

The aim of the project is to develop, implement and provide operational support for a sustainable energy-saving model in 14 day-care centres of DRK Bremen. The project is intended to contribute to reducing energy consumption, operating costs and CO₂ emissions, while at the same time actively involving staff and users of the facilities. In this context, it is aimed firstly at the educators/childcare workers, who receive a wide range of support in order to introduce the children themselves to the topic of energy saving for climate protection and encourage them to take this topic also into their parents’ home. Secondly, it is aimed at the responsible building services technicians or caretakers, who receive a completely new perspective on the day-care centre building through expert energy consulting, so to speak through the energy efficiency glasses. The holistic approach by combining education and technology is particularly promising for day-care centres.
