TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this performance specification is shell construction work (reinforced concrete work and masonry work including the required steel structural components) for structural strengthening and implementation of the concept for use, including new and additional foundation work for all building components, as well as earthworks including service ducts (grundleitungen). The shell construction work includes new, partly load-bearing reinforced concrete base slabs (approx. 370 m²), individual reinforced concrete footings, cast-in-place concrete staircases (2 units), masonry work (approx. 150 m²), plus repairs to existing masonry, comprehensive crack remediation, and various measures to load-bearing and non-load-bearing existing building components, including, where required, steel strengthening in some cases. To implement the measures, extensive site-status securing measures are required in parallel in all buildings. The special foundation construction includes manual excavations using the “pilgrim step” procedure, as well as underpinning of the load-bearing existing structures and additional foundation work using resin injection to improve the subsoil.
