TENDER DESCRIPTION

The tender concerns a main contract covering the cleanup of pollution at Himmark Strand on Als. The pollution is one of the 10 generation pollutions. The purpose of the cleanup is to ensure that the pollution no longer poses a risk to the aquatic environment. By removing the pollution, the goal is also to ensure that the area can be used recreationally, including lifting the bathing ban and the warning against fishing. The main contract includes environmental cleanup of two coastal intervention areas on the east coast of Als off the village of Himmark. The intervention areas are located partly on beach areas/beach meadows and partly on the territorial sea and comprise 10,000 m² and 35,000 m² respectively. The intervention areas are temporarily dammed so that the water level can be lowered and excavation as well as soil handling can be carried out relatively dry. The damming in the territorial sea is carried out by stone dumping with a water-cutting sheet pile wall, which in some areas is anchored to an anchor sheet pile.
