TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract concerns the study and construction under a Total Enterprise of the following works: 1. New hydraulic decoupling station (SDD), including hydraulic adaptations in the pumping stations (SPP), the SPP and SDD connecting pipelines, and the rejection pipelines to the lake between the SDD building and the interface inspection chamber of the CCU/SDD pipelines. 2. New SDD-PDR connecting pipelines (on land) up to the PDR redistribution station, including the creation of a new pump room in the current parking area in the basement of the BS building of EPFL. 3. Renovation of the distribution network in the EPFL galleries from the PDR station to the various sub-stations dedicated to each building on the campus, including the new return pipeline and the hydraulic adaptations to the CCT. The Total Enterprise will take part from phase “32. Project work” up to phase “53. Commissioning, completion”. The triggering element and the primary objective of the project are protection against the proliferation of Quagga Mussels in our pipelines and securing the cooling network.
