TENDER DESCRIPTION

As part of this procurement procedure, the University Hospital is issuing a framework contract for the provision of support services in IT application management (expected) from 1 February 2027 for the following 4 years (planned), including extension options. A step-by-step transition to transfer the services from the existing externally operated service to an external service provider is planned for the period Q1/Q2 2027. Full assumption of the provision of all contractually relevant services under standard operations is intended to be completed no later than 01.07.2027. The Center for Digitalization and Information Technology (ZDI) of the University Hospital Heidelberg will be broken down operationally into individual areas. With support from contractors as external service providers, they assume end-to-end responsibility with regard to the IT of the respective core processes of the contracting authority, in order to be able to ensure secure and stable operations as well as the further development of the IT service.
