TENDER DESCRIPTION

Within the scope of this procurement procedure, the University Hospital is awarding a framework agreement for the provision of support services in IT application management (presumably) starting from 1 February 2027 for the following 4 years (planned), including extension options. A step-by-step transition to transfer the services from the existing externally operated service provider is planned for the period Q1/Q2 2027. Full assumption of the provision of all contractual services in normal operations is intended to take place no later than 01.07.2027. The Center for Digitalization and Information Technology (ZDI) of Heidelberg University Hospital will be divided operationally into individual areas. With the support of contractors as external service providers, they assume end-to-end responsibility with regard to the IT of the respective core processes of the contracting authority, in order to be able to ensure secure and stable operations as well as further development of the IT service.
