As a medical high-performance and centre of expertise for maximum care with 38 clinics and institutes, Saarland University Medical Center (UKS) offers a wide range of services in regional and supra-regional healthcare. The campus of the medical centre houses the facilities of Saarland University Medical Center and the Faculty of Medicine of Saarland University. These are located in more than 100 buildings arranged in pavilion-style construction. Each year, more than 50,000 patients are treated and cared for as inpatients and more than 230,000 on an outpatient basis at the UKS. This award procedure concerns a natural gas supply contract. Through this award procedure, Saarland University Medical Center is seeking competent and reliable partners (hereinafter the “contractor” and “tenderers”) to supply natural gas.
