Extract from the performance specification: .....Lot 1 – Between Harbke and Wulferstedt The UG is located on the western boundary of Saxony-Anhalt between Harbke in the north and Wulferstedt in the south-east and comprises a total area of approximately 235.82 km2, corresponding to an area of approximately 1.85 full topographical map grid sheets (Messtischblätter) (on average 127.3 km2/MTB). The objective of the service is to record the group of species amphibians and their main invasive predators raccoon and mink at as many suitable waters as possible within the respective topographical map grid sheet (MTB), with waters with a high potential for species listed in Annexes II and IV to be treated with priority. For the recording, at least 3 surveys are to be carried out per topographical map grid sheet, and for each survey of a complete topographical map grid sheet, 4 (preferably contiguous) field days (with 8 mapping hours each) must be completed (corresponding to one field day per survey and MTB quadrant (MTB Q)).
