TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Federal Republic of Germany participates between 2021 and 2027, as part of Interreg B, in six transnational cooperation programmes. The objective of the Interreg B programmes is to promote the development of the respective programme area through transnational projects, among other things in the fields of adapting to climate change, the energy transition and energy security, transport and mobility, as well as risk prevention and resilience. During the current funding period, there are many transnational projects that address challenges on the ground using integrated approaches. In cooperation between states and, in part, across disciplines, innovative solutions for spatial development are developed and implemented. Public engagement in the specialist field is where this comes in: it translates project results into application-oriented content, disseminates them via suitable channels, and thereby strengthens the transfer of knowledge from European cooperation into German spatial development.
