TENDER DESCRIPTION

The planned construction project is located within the city area of the Hessian state capital Wiesbaden, in the district of Biebrich. The nearest station, Wiesbaden-Ost, is approximately 700 m south along line 3603. The crossing structure lies between the Salzbach and the A 671 motorway on the electrified line 3505 on the track towards Wiesbaden Hbf–Wiesbaden Biebrich at km 44.020. The structure carries over the electrified lines 3603 Frankfurt Hbf–Wiesbaden Hbf at km 38.4 and 3528 Mainz Kaiserbrücke Ost–Wiesbaden Hbf at km 6.9. The track affected by the renewal is the line 3505 direction track. The renewal of the crossing structure envisages a single-track lattice girder bridge. It will be constructed as a single-span structure with a span length of 100 m founded respectively behind the existing heritage-protected abutments of the current structure. The crossing angle is 19.1 gon. The abutments are constructed in situ concrete with deep foundation. The fabrication of the steel lattice girder structure is carried out according to Ril 804.9010, Chapter 2.
