TENDER DESCRIPTION

The planned construction project is located within the urban area of the Hessian state capital Wiesbaden in the Biebrich cadastral district. The nearest railway station, Wiesbaden-Ost, is located at approximately 700 m to the south on the line 3603. The crossing structure is located between the Salzbach and the A 671 motorway on the electrified line 3505 in the direction track Wiesbaden Hbf–Wiesbaden Biebrich at km 44,020. The structure carries the electrified lines 3603 Frankfurt Hbf–Wiesbaden Hbf at km 38,4 and 3528 Mainz Kaiserbrücke Ost–Wiesbaden Hbf at km 6,9. The line affected by the renewal is line 3505 direction track. The renewal of the crossing structure provides a single-track timber-truss bridge. This is founded as a single-span structure with a support span of 100 m immediately behind the existing abutments protected as historic monuments of the existing structure. The angle of the crossing is 19,1 gon. The abutments are made of cast-in-place concrete with deep foundation (pile) underpinning.
