TENDER DESCRIPTION

At the Accident Hospital Berlin site, ukb-AESCULAP InstrumentenManagement GmbH operates a reprocessing unit for medical devices (AEMP) certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13485, which ensures central sterile goods supply in 24/7 operation. Each year, the AEMP reprocesses around 100,000 sterile goods units (StE) with more than 4.5 million operating instruments. The contracting parties must therefore provide special measures to ensure operational capability during execution and to limit downtime to an unavoidable minimum. Due to reaching the expected operational service life, the existing equipment is renewed in several construction phases as part of an overall modernization.
