TENDER DESCRIPTION
ukb-AESCULAP InstrumentenManagement GmbH operates at the Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin site a reprocessing unit for medical devices (AEMP) certified to DIN EN ISO 13485, which ensures central sterile supply in 24/7 operation. Each year, the AEMP reprocesses around 100,000 sterile goods units (StE) with more than 4.5 million surgical instruments. The contractors must therefore provide special measures to ensure operational capability during performance and limit downtime to a minimum that is unavoidable. Due to reaching the operationally expected service life, the existing equipment is being renewed as part of an overall modernisation in several construction phases.
