TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this tender is the complete renewal of a lift in the U-Bahn city rail stop Viehofer Platz in Essen. The existing hydraulic lift system will be replaced by a traction lift. The existing shaft frames and enclosures are to be retained to the greatest extent possible; an enlargement of the shaft pit or the shaft head is not planned. The existing front door will be completely renewed. The scope of services includes planning, dismantling and disposal of the existing system, delivery and installation of the new lift system including lift car, drive, control system, doors, safety equipment, lighting, emergency call and communication technology, as well as the required tests, acceptance tests, documentation and commissioning. In parallel, fire protection-related upgrading of the lift room will be carried out, including an F90 wall, new access doors to the machine room and the construction of a walkway staircase.
