TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this tender is the complete renewal of a lift at the U-city tram stop Viehofer Platz in Essen. The existing hydraulic lift system will be replaced by a rope hoist. The existing shaft scaffolding and enclosures are to be preserved to the greatest extent possible; an enlargement of the shaft pit or the shaft head is not planned. The existing front door section is to be completely renewed. The scope of services includes the design, dismantling and disposal of the existing equipment, supply and installation of the new lift system including the lift car, drive, control system, doors, safety devices, lighting, emergency call and communication technology, as well as the required tests, acceptance testing, documentation and commissioning. In parallel, fire-safety-related upgrading of the lift room is to be carried out, including F90 wall, new access doors to the machine room and construction of a walkway staircase.
