TENDER DESCRIPTION
The city of Freital operates, for a large number of administrative-specific procedures, a range of IT components that, together with various software products, serve to provide all the necessary infrastructure components for operating the required administrative tasks. Based on two data center locations in the city of Freital, IT services are currently provided to the various administrative offices and departments. For operating the individual IT services and administrative-specific procedures, the city of Freital currently operates a 3-tier VMware Streched cluster, which is symmetrically divided between two geo-redundant locations. The aim is to procure modern compute and storage technologies that ensure effective operation of the data centers for the coming 5 years.
