TENDER DESCRIPTION

The 35 kV switchgear of the Mainzer Straße substation (UW 11), Rathaus substation (UW 12) and Hauptbahnhof substation (UW 13) are an essential part of the 750 V DC railway power supply of Saarbahn Netz GmbH and ensure the power supply to the overhead line network. The substations built in 1995 include, among other things, 35 kV and DC switchgear as well as the associated control, protection and supply technology. Due to the discontinuation of the protection and control technology components used and the fact that spare parts are no longer available, retrofit measures are required for the 35 kV switchgear in order to ensure long-term supply security. The planned conversion and renewal measures are described in service sections 1 to 3.
