TENDER DESCRIPTION
The 35 kV switchgear of the Mainzer Straße substation (UW 11), Rathaus substation (UW 12) and Hauptbahnhof substation (UW 13) is an essential component of the 750 V DC traction power supply of Saarbahn Netz GmbH and ensures the power supply of the overhead line network. The substations built in 1995 include, among other things, 35 kV and DC switchgear as well as the associated control, protection and supply technology. Due to the discontinuation of the protection and control technology components used and the fact that spare parts are no longer available, retrofit measures are required on the 35 kV switchgear to ensure long-term security of supply. The planned conversion and renewal measures are described in performance sections 1 to 3.
