Errichtung und Betrieb einer Geschäftsstelle „Wirtschaftliche Eigenständigkeit“ (2027-2029)

TENDER DESCRIPTION

Gender equality is a constitutional mandate under Article 3(2) of the Basic Law (Grundgesetz, GG), and increasing women’s participation in employment is also a goal of the Koalitionsvertrag (KoaV) (lines 407-409). To meet these obligations and objectives, strengthening the economic self-reliance of women and men and promoting economic equality is an expressly stated goal of the Federal Government. This goal has been set out both in the Annual Economic Report 2026 and in the Federal Government’s 7th Report on Poverty and Wealth. Providing economic orientation knowledge over the course of a person’s life (e.g. the financial consequences of working part-time, care work, and choosing tax classes) is a central lever for this. The work of the office for “Economic self-reliance” is also intended to build on this. For the purpose of providing professional, evidence-based, and communicative support to the responsible specialist department, the establishment and operation of an external office for “Economic self-reliance” will be tendered Europe-wide for the period from 01.02.2027 to 31.12.2029.
