Description of the service: Replacement procurement 1 × Operations command vehicle – ELW 1 Explanation: Operations command vehicle – ELW 1 with fire-service technical equipment The vehicle is tendered in 2 lots: Lot 1 – chassis and bodywork Lot 2 – fire-service technical equipment Pursuant to § 6 para. 1 no. 2 ThürBKG, the district of Greiz must, in order to fulfil its tasks, plan and equip support fire brigades and other fire brigades with supra-regional tasks (stage 2). The same applies to the district of Greiz, pursuant to § 1 para. 1 no. 1 ThürKatSVO, as a task within the transferred sphere of responsibility for the establishment of base and special units as well as the facilities of disaster protection. With the new procurement of the Operations command vehicle – ELW 1 (stage 2) for allocation to the disaster protection unit hazardous materials unit, the district of Greiz carries out this task.
