TENDER DESCRIPTION

The construction project for the replacement construction of the bridges in the AdK includes demolition, dismantling and new construction in the district of Berlin Marzahn-Hellersdorf of three bridge structures of the tramway, which fall under BVG’s maintenance responsibility, including the modification of the stair arrangement at BW 06b, which falls under DB Station & Service’s maintenance responsibility, under the given boundary conditions. During the construction works, the crossing and undercrossing of all types of traffic at the transport junctions, such as motor vehicles, pedestrian and cycle traffic, local public transport (ÖPNV) and long-distance traffic, must be maintained. The aim is the restoration of a capable and durable transport infrastructure that meets the current requirements for traffic safety and, due to the increased traffic loads and/or forecasts. The newly to be constructed transport infrastructure should integrate as well as possible into the existing transport infrastructure without triggering major impacts and follow-on measures.
