TENDER DESCRIPTION

The construction project for the replacement new construction of the bridges in the AdK includes the demolition, dismantling and new construction in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district of Berlin of three road-rail bridge structures that belong to BVG’s maintenance responsibility, including the alteration of the stairway arrangements at BW 06b, which belong to Deutsche Bahn’s Stations & Services maintenance responsibility, under the given boundary conditions. During the construction work, all types of traffic at the traffic junctions, such as motor vehicles, pedestrian and cycle traffic, local public transport (ÖPNV) and long-distance traffic, must be maintained. The aim is to restore a capable and durable transport infrastructure that meets the current requirements for traffic safety and, due to the increased traffic loads and/or forecasts, the associated requirements. The newly created transport infrastructure is intended to fit into the existing transport infrastructure as seamlessly as possible and without triggering major disruptions and follow-up measures.
