TENDER DESCRIPTION

To support the in-house staff of the Waterways New Construction Office, a part of the basic services and some of the special services of the construction management in accordance with Sections 43 and 47 of the HOAI shall be awarded for the construction project Replacement new build of the lock bridge Eisenhüttenstadt. The construction project includes, among other things, demolition of the existing structure, construction of a temporary bridge during the construction period including temporary access, construction of the replacement structure including substructures, and new construction of the roads and footpaths adjacent to the bridge on both sides. The services to be provided in accordance with the HOAI include, among other things, conducting and recording construction meetings, processing change orders/additional work, in-depth monitoring of construction schedules, as well as representing local construction supervision; the latter in particular in the event of the in-house personnel of the Waterways and Shipping Administration being prevented due to vacation or illness.
