TENDER DESCRIPTION

Lot 2: Fire-fighting system The subject of this invitation to tender is the manufacture, delivery, operationally ready installation and commissioning of a fire-fighting system in the form of a high-pressure water mist system. The tunnel has a length of 509 m. The clear width in the standard cross-sections varies between 8.40 m in the old tunnel section and 11.50 m in the new tunnel section. Access to the tunnel and to the operations building is via the land side. Access to the pump house is via the air side, i.e. the work in and on the pump house takes place in the security area of Stuttgart Airport. A detailed description of the B312 airport tunnel and of the measures is included in the enclosed, informative tender documents. Lots 1 and 3 to 5 are tendered separately. Construction period January to August 2027 under total closure of the tunnel - see project schedule.
