TENDER DESCRIPTION

Lot 2: Fire-fighting system The subject of this invitation to tender is the manufacture, delivery, operationally ready installation, and commissioning of a fire-fighting system in the form of a high-pressure water mist system. The tunnel has a length of 509 m. The clear width in the standard cross-sections varies between 8.40 m in the existing tunnel section and 11.50 m in the new tunnel section. Access to the tunnel and to the operating building is from the land side. Access to the pump house is from the air side, i.e., the work in and on the pump house takes place in the security area of Stuttgart Airport. A detailed description of Airport Tunnel B312 and the measures is included in the attached, informational tender documents. Lots 1 and 3 to 5 are tendered separately. Construction period January to August 2027 with full closure of the tunnel - see schedule.
