TENDER DESCRIPTION

Over the coming years, the Julius-Leber-School is to be comprehensively refurbished and extended in several construction phases. This tender covers construction phases 1 and 2, which have been implemented since summer 2025 over a period of around two years: • Construction phase 1: Upward extension and expansion of GTS (all-day school with canteen) • Construction phase 2: New construction of the secondary level with connection to the existing building A further 3rd construction phase (not the subject of this tender) will include the new construction of the primary level. The existing school campus was built in the 1960s based on designs by the city building department. From north to south, the original development comprises a two-storey, basemented building on Breisgaustraße (“AES building”), the three-storey basemented main building, and, adjacent to it and connected with covered corridors, three two-storey classroom buildings (“Pavilions 1 to 3”) with crawl space basements.
