TENDER DESCRIPTION
The City of Essen intends to construct a new school building at the site of the Leibniz-Gymnasium at Stankheitstraße 22 in 45326 Essen. For the area development, it is necessary to remove the buildings located on the site in a controlled manner and to completely demolish them. The buildings to be demolished (open-air hall, school pavilion and youth sports hall) are currently still in use, but will be decommissioned before construction begins. The youth sports hall was originally built around the year 1913 and, over time, has been extended and rebuilt several times. At the beginning of the 1980s, the school pavilion was erected and the open-air hall in 2005 The buildings in question have the following floor areas and enclosed volumes: Open-air hall floor area approx. 463 m2, enclosed volume approx. 2,430 m3 Pavilion floor area 371 m2, enclosed volume 1,300 m3 Youth sports hall floor area 1,120 m2, enclosed volume 8,500 m3 Note on execution / scope of work / interfaces The services to be provided consist of the preliminary hazardous substance remediation work and the subsequent demolition of the described buildings.
