TENDER DESCRIPTION
The Mayenbad clinic in Bad Waldsee with 164 rooms in its existing facilities is to be expanded by 42 patient rooms and two lift systems. For this purpose, the architecture firm ST bauplan has carried out a necessary study on feasibility regarding functionality, costs and the possibility of funding. In order to obtain a qualified cost estimate, this study was completed with HOAI phases 2 (preliminary design). The study proposes an 8-storey extension of the existing building and, under the given circumstances of urgent timing and ensuring operational processes within the company, such as a minimum burden on residents, provides the basis for being able to implement the project at all while also taking the ongoing clinic operation into account in an appropriate manner. Therefore, significant deviations from the previous concept are only still possible if they are justified. The Mayenbad clinic can and will only initiate the project if the planned time frame for implementation can be ensured.
