TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Mayenbad clinic in Bad Waldsee with 164 rooms in the existing building is to be extended by 42 patient rooms and two lift systems. For this purpose, a necessary feasibility study was prepared regarding implementation, with respect to functionality, costs and the possibility of funding by the architectural firm ST bauplan. In order to obtain a qualified cost estimate, the study was completed with LP 2 (preliminary design). The study provides for an eight-storey extension of the existing building and, given the circumstances of time-critical urgency and ensuring internal operational processes, such as minimal burden on residents, it forms the basis for making the project at all implementable, while also considering the ongoing clinic operations in a particularly careful manner. Therefore, significant deviations from the existing concept are only possible to a limited extent and with justification. The Mayenbad clinic can and will only undertake the project if the intended time frame for implementation can be ensured.
