TENDER DESCRIPTION
The Mayenbad clinic in Bad Waldsee with 164 rooms in the existing building is to be extended by 42 patient rooms and two lift systems. To this end, the architectural office ST bauplan has produced a necessary feasibility study with regard to functionality, costs and the availability of funding, which was completed with service phase 2 (preliminary design) in order to obtain a qualified cost estimate. The study provides for an 8-storey extension of the existing building and, given the circumstances of time-critical urgency and ensuring internal operational processes, such as minimizing the burden on residents, it provides the basis to enable the project to be implemented in the first place, while already taking into account the ongoing clinic operations in a careful manner. Therefore, significant deviations from the previous concept are only possible if they are appropriately justified. The Mayenbad clinic can and will only take on the project if the intended time schedule for implementation can be ensured.
