TENDER DESCRIPTION
The Mayenbad Clinic in Bad Waldsee, with 164 rooms in the existing building, is to be extended by 42 patient rooms and two lift systems. To this end, a necessary feasibility study was carried out regarding functional aspects, costs and the funding possibility of the architectural firm ST bauplan. In order to obtain a qualified cost estimate, the study was completed with LP 2 (preliminary design). The study provides for an 8-storey extension of the existing building and, given the circumstances of time-critical urgency and ensuring internal operational processes—such as a minimum burden on the residents—forms the basis for being able to implement the project at all, while taking the ongoing clinic operations into account in a correspondingly careful manner. Therefore, material deviations from the previous concept are only possible if properly justified. The Mayenbad Clinic may and will only initiate the project if the planned time frame for implementation can be ensured.
