TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Mayenbad Clinic in Bad Waldsee, with 164 rooms in the existing building, is to be expanded by 42 patient rooms and two lift installations. For this purpose, the architectural firm ST bauplan has conducted a necessary feasibility study regarding functionality, costs, and funding eligibility, which was completed with LP 2 (preliminary design) in order to obtain a qualified cost estimate. The study provides for an 8-storey extension of the existing building and, under the given circumstances of urgent timing and ensuring internal operational processes, such as minimizing the burden on residents, forms the basis for making it possible to implement the project at all, while also taking the ongoing clinic operations into account in a particularly careful manner. Therefore, significant deviations from the existing concept are only justifiably possible to a limited extent. The Mayenbad Clinic can and will initiate the project only if the intended time frame for implementation can be ensured.
