TENDER DESCRIPTION

AOK is extending its education center in Homberg/Ohm with a new building (P-I-C), which will be connected via a link building to the existing BTA building. The central main building remains in place as the main entrance; the extension will be carried out in the western direction. In addition, the BTA is extended in the southern area. Before the new-build work begins, it is mandatory to carry out static strengthening measures in the UG and EG floors of the existing BTA building. Only after that will core stripping (gutting), dismantling, and demolition work be carried out in these areas. During the entire construction period, operations remain ongoing in the upper floors (OG and DG) of the BTA. The building services equipment as well as the fire alarm system remain in continuous operation and must be taken into account during all work, especially in the area of the doors. Necessary coordination, e.g. regarding shutdowns, must be carried out with the operator. Due to dismantling work, in particular in the area of the western gable, escape routes are temporarily eliminated.
