TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Schwetzingen intends to expand the school site at the already existing Johann-Michael-Zeyher Primary School with a new building in timber module construction to the school premises at Schubertstr. 4. For this purpose, using public funding, the Johann-Michael-Zeyher Primary School is to be expanded by an extension new build to become an all-day school. The extension building has no direct connection to the existing primary school building; however, in addition to other school rooms, it is intended to provide all-day care, including a cafeteria (mensa). The new building is to be positioned in such a way in terms of elevation that it can be entered barrier-free and wheelchair-accessible from the existing school building and from the access road (cul-de-sac). The adjacent railway plot is directly next to it. The primary school currently has two forms of entry (2-stream) with approximately 175 pupils. After the expansion into an all-day school, two-stream operation is also to be maintained with a maximum of 28 pupils per class.
