TENDER DESCRIPTION
The City of Schwetzingen intends to expand the school site at the already existing premises of the Johann-Michael-Zeyher Primary School by adding a new building in timber modular construction to the school site at Schubertstr. 4. For this purpose, the Johann-Michael-Zeyher Primary School is to be developed into an all-day school by means of an extension new build, using funding. The extension building has no direct connection to the existing primary school building; however, alongside other school rooms, it is intended to provide all-day care incl. a cafeteria. The new building is to be positioned in such a way, based on its elevation, that it can be accessed barrier-free and wheelchair-accessible from the existing school and the access road (spur road). The adjacent railway property is immediately next to it. Currently, the primary school operates as a two-form entry with approximately 175 students. After the expansion to an all-day school, two-form entry status is to be maintained, with a maximum of 28 students per class.
