TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Baesweiler (hereinafter the “contracting authority”) intends to extend and convert the Gymnasium at Otto-Hahn-Straße 16-18 in 52499 Baesweiler as a total contractor award. The Gymnasium is located on the property of the cadastral district of Baesweiler, parcel 008, parcel 96. The property has an area of approximately 26,500 m2. The steadily increasing need for school places in the secondary school (Gymnasium) sector makes this measure necessary. In future, the Gymnasium is to be designed as a five-form entry and, in accordance with student number monitoring, offer space for up to approximately 1,200 students. The current school site consists of three building sections (Block 1, Block 2 and Block 3/4) and a triple sports hall. As part of the planned extension, the administrative section currently located in Block 1 is to be relocated to a storey extension of the sports hall to be carried out.
