The contract timeline includes the following details:

• Contract Start Date:
• For the Framework Agreement ("Acord Marc"), the initial duration is counted from the date of formalization.
• For the "based contract" ("Contracte Basat"), the start date is to be indicated as "counted from (...)."
• Total Duration:
• The Framework Agreement ("Acord Marc") has an initial duration of two (2) years. It allows for two (2) extensions of twelve (12) months each, resulting in a maximum total duration of four (4) years.
• The "based contract" ("Contracte Basat"), including any extensions, cannot exceed a maximum duration of five (5) years. Extensions for the "based contract" can be for 12 months or an alternative duration.
• Key Milestones or Phases: The contract execution is structured into differentiated phases:
• First year of contract: Design and strategy phase.
• Second year and extensions: Implementation, evaluation, and training phase.

The core scope of work for this tender involves providing technical support and training related to the social impact of research and knowledge transfer for the UOC, structured as a Framework Agreement to establish a pool of approved providers.

The Statement of Work is divided into three main lots:

1. Lot 1: Strategic and Methodological Impact Consulting (ex-ante): The objective is to define the strategic framework and methodologies for planning impact proactively. Core deliverables include designing institutional strategies to promote social impact, advising on "Impact Pathways" for research projects, identifying stakeholders and designing engagement plans, developing UOC-specific methodological guides for integrating impact into the research lifecycle, and designing institutional strategies for fostering Citizen Science for research groups and centers. This lot has the highest budgetary weight in the first year for consultancy and strategy/methodology drafting.

2. Lot 2: Impact Evaluation, Measurement, and Evidence (ex-post): This lot aims to support the collection, analysis, and certification of the impact generated after research. Deliverables include conducting case studies of social, cultural, economic, or political impact, designing and calculating quantitative and qualitative impact indicators (KPIs) beyond traditional bibliometrics, compiling documentary evidence (e.g., testimonies, legislative changes), and utilizing advanced methodologies such as SROI, contribution analysis, or process tracing. It also covers support in drafting impact narratives for evaluation calls and assisting with Citizen Science project analysis. The budget for this lot increases in the second year and subsequent extensions for implementation and evaluation.

3. Lot 3: Training and Capacity Building in Social Impact: The objective is to enhance the competencies of research and management staff within the UOC in the area of impact. Services include delivering practical workshops on impact design and evaluation, providing specific training on monitoring tools and responsible metrics, creating training materials (e.g., video capsules, manuals), and offering individualized mentoring in social impact and Citizen Science for research groups and centers. This lot also sees an increased budget in the second year and extensions for practical application, evaluation, and training.

The awarded company is expected to assign professionals with the necessary solvency, contribute expertise in strategy definition, content, methodology, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, and provide required technological solutions. A Project Manager will be responsible for defining standards and methodologies, planning activities, daily project management and monitoring, resource management, managing dependencies, change management, risk management, and analyzing project deviations. The typical team will include a Project Manager and a Consultant/Trainer.
