TENDER DESCRIPTION

Background and overarching objective: HXE must give way to the new-build project HWS and will be dismantled. Through the framework agreement with VSETH, ETH is obliged to provide replacement areas until the definitive rooms in the new HIC building are ready for occupancy. Operational readiness is mandatory until January 2028. Scope of services as a total contractor: Planning and execution of a replacement building/modular building as an integrated overall service (general contractor/total contractor model), including dismantling and reusability; functional tendering in accordance with the ETH Zurich, HBA replacement construction HXE task description, including annexes. Options: PV system as an option with an economic viability assessment. Not part of the contract: - Alterations for Stage 2 - Dismantling of the temporary facility after end of use - Planning/integration of the thermo-chemical storage system The BIM method will not be commissioned.
