The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom (hereinafter also “Traficom” or the “contracting authority”) is a central government agency operating in the administrative sector of the Ministry of Transport and Communications. Traficom is a service-oriented authority for permits, registers and supervision in the field of transport and communications. The agency promotes the functionality and safety of the transport system and accelerates the development of a digital society. It supports sustainable development and ensures that in Finland high-quality, secure and reasonably priced communications connections and services are available.
